Our three-week Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program offers concise and consolidated training that gives the student the ability to start an exciting career faster than typical programs.

Program Hours

Day: Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm
Evening: Monday-Friday 5pm-10pm

Part 1: Lecture – 76 Hours

  • Includes on-site coursework
  • Active Skill training

Part 2: Clinical – 24 Hours

  • The student will work shifts at an off-campus clinical site
  • Here you will master the skills taught during class and active hands-on training.

  • Personal Care Skills
  • Care of Confused Residents
  • Basic Restorative Services
  • Mental Health and Social Services
  • Resident’s Rights
  • Patients Dignity

Students who receive a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Certificate from Advantage Career Training can sign up for the state exam to become a licensed CNA. Upon successful completion of the state exam, students will receive their certificate from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health with the ability to properly and effectively care for the elderly, chronically ill, and persons with disabilities. Our CNA program meets CT State regulatory training requirements and is approved by the CT Office of Higher Education and the CT Department of Public Health.

Our CNA Program is a 3 week, hands on program, which includes lectures and clinical components.

Program Hours

Monday – Friday from 9 am to 4 pm

Part 1 – 65 Hours

Part 2 – 35 Hours

Is the clinical aspect of the training where the student will work during shifts at an off campus clinical site. Here they will master skills taught during class and hands-on training.
